The Red Cross and its volunteers help our community in many ways. Geri (Bond) McKnight has thanked the Red Cross and its volunteers at least three different times.
"I received blood after the delivery of our first daughter. I was so weak I felt better with the first unit but needed a second, too.
"The Red Cross located my husband where he was deployed because he had to leave before she arrived. Many years later, our other daughter was helped immensely in Houston when a flood took all her belongings.
"The Red Cross holds an important place in our family and in the community. I thank all Red Cross donors."
